I've never heard one of his ditties. Not my type of thing. Didn't realise he was a politician though.

That's why artists like Bob Dylan were queuing up for him to write lyrics for them!

Seriously, he was awful...

He was the best rapper of his time. Not sure he really transcends that genre in any meaningful way though.

Anyway if you search on Google the internet says he is still alive and faked his death. The internet is usually right.

Where did I suggest he was a role model?

I said he was a talented lyricist and poet which he was.

You think he's shite, I think Bob Dylan is shite, such is life, people have different tastes in music no need to get on your high horse about it.

well seeings as the thread is about him being president, then i feel the post about him being a shite role model rather than how good a singer/rapper he was, is much more valid, im afraid.

Then don't quote my post that has nothing to do with him saying he could be president and purely commenting on his music and quote the op.

People don't understand how influential this artist was. All you seen and heard was what how the "system" made black Americans look bad. Songs like dear mama (listen to this before you judge). Songs like changes (indicated, America never had a black president then came Obama 10 years after Tupac was killed.

Unconditional love is one of my favourite songs of his. these songs went platinum dimond! I've yet to come across a artist that releases albums with 20 plus songs - 7 min long! His lyrics are million times better & deeper than all now a days entertainers. For me he is the best.
