Its quite awful. Went for a weekend that lasted a month or so it seemed!

Not stayed, attended a wedding there, much better places around this area.

The surrounding area is really pretty.

I'm about 20 miles from there.

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

Ooh, does that mean you're venturing north of Hove then Steve? You do realise you're contractually obliged to meet me if you're within 2 counties of Arse End?

Whitewater Hotel at Backbarrow (35 mins from me) and Langdale Estates, Elterwater (40 mins) are nice places although I haven't been to either for a while
