"That pass looked forward to me."

Hard to see the first time around. So in an amateurs game. I wouldn't blame the referee for giving it as you only have 1 chance and a 1 second look at it and you normally give the attacker from the benefit of the doubt. Now you have many looks at it from many angles. Fans and commentators say no try after looking. So why has the referee given it

Because the TMO didn't say he shouldn't.

I do think the TMO is sometimes used unnecessarily when, a few seasons ago, it would've been the benefit of the doubt.

I meant if the camera shows clearly what happened and we can all see it on screen. Why has the match gone against what is obvious.

Well, one of the commentators is the most one-eyed that I've ever heard - & that's going some!! It looked marginal so I'm glad they gave it - it was a good try!!

"Is it really worth playing knowing that France will be back with a vengeance and kick everyone's asses?"

the problem france has is the same one english football has....

1) they are french (tempremental and inconsistant!)

2) because there league is the big money league in europe, most of the big clubs now buy in foreign talent (welsh, irish, aussie, kiwi and saffers) which means the home talent doesn't get the chance to get better and improve.....

To be fair, I was only playing the cocky French part...

I agree on the fact that they are inconsistant and that French league is the best (of course ). Though, we still have a great pool of young players who have the chance to develop their talent in club: except Toulon or Toulouse which are, indeed, mostly using foreign players, most of the teams are using French players.

And I refuse the comparison with the English football team: English football players are only shite, no needto find any other excuse (only joking.... or am I? )

If Steve Walsh is the Irish/French ref who had the Wales V France RWC semi, then I agree - he's atrocious!

I confuse him with Steve (look at me, I'm the star of the show) Williams (I think? ), but as for Bevan; a whistle-happy Nazi!!

the french/irish ref would be alain rolland.... I quite like him....

if it is one thing a southern hemisphere ref knows, its where the TV camera is!!! Dickinson, Kaplan, Walsh, Lawrence...

give me a good northern hemisphere ref who know how to ref the scrums!!!!

Fabio - sorry, i mixed up Williams with Walsh. Yes I agree, he's an annoying poser, but you prefer a Northern Hem ref for the scrums? What about not being whistle-happy & letting the game flow/entertain???
