Penda - He was a Mercian King and warlord during the 7th Century who carved out a kingdom and bumped off quite a few opposing kings, as well as giving Oswestry it's name in a most gruesome fashion. We don't know much about him, so popping back in time with a flask of earl Grey and some sarnies would be ok. Unless he does something unspeakable with a chopper.
