They were amazing and bigger than normal crumpets, they are made to fit in your toaster just right, none of this trying to pick it out because the crumpet isn't big enough to get out when popped up

I'd go for all those little plastic and wire ties that hold kids toys on to infeasibly tough card boxes.

Without these it wouldn't take an hour to get the toy out before you discover you have the wrong batteries; all whilst our little darlings bawl and shout and stamp they're feet in an impatient war dance.

Oops hold on, that's not really a great invention after all .

What about Condoms, now they genuinely are a great idea.
