I did "...Mockingbird" In school too.

Piction, top reads have to be A Christmas Carol- I read it every year, also The Box of Delights..likewise. I have several landmark books from my childhood I can read over and over, mainly because they are good stories well told. Hawkmoor; The Devil On The Road; The Black Arrow; The Outsiders.... And I collect Robin Hood books, read those regularly too.

I tend to be more adventurous with non-fiction. Can really recommend "The Way Of The Paceful Warrior" by Dan Millman. Also lots of history, bushcraft and books on magic and paganism.

Guilty pleasure? I DO like an Andy McNabb every once in a while!!

Don't laugh but my best books as a child were the Famous Five. Pure escapism with lashings of ginger beer. I would read and re-read them for hours. They were paperbacks and I can remember them falling apart I read them so often.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I love real books so I didn't think I'd get on with a Kindle at all. However, I adapted quickly and love my Kindle too now. It's also saving me space on my bookcases because I read a lot and I have dreadful trouble getting rid of books.

I would recommend The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho
