get her attached to a toy or ball, use it in the back garden at first.

a harness is a big bit of kit to get on which may be putting her off, so I'd change to a collar. hey are a lot easier to clip a lead to. She wont be pulling so hard as to do any damage to her neck.

In the garden make it fun, chase, play, praise - dont be too loud as she is still getting used to you.

Think of what you are doing when not about to go out. Are you talking to her constantly, praising or reassuring needlessly? As said, she is getting used to you so if you are reinforcing nervous behaviour by petting, having hands on her, picking her up, cuddling, talking - then this may be having an effect. Just take things in your stride, Use eye contact occasionally and let her find her feet, they dont break. Then just head out the door in a very natural fashion as they pick up if you are anxious good luck

Agree with the collar versus harness. Also attach a nice light lead and let pup wander round the house with it. then you can start to pick up the lead and gently get the dog to come along with you.

don't try and pull the pup along.

When i had my dog, i put the harness/lead on her around the house for a while....then walked her round the house holding lead. Till she was used to eat. Little short walks first and let her go at her own pace.

good tips

just to say - dont use food, as.. all you are doing is going for a walk -it's not a training exercise. The problem is, what happens when you dont have food, she'll absolutely refuse i'd say

I have all this to come too as I pick up my pup on Friday. Obviously she wont be able to go out until a week or so after her 2nd injection, shes just had the 1st.

I'll have to get through the toilet training bit first
