is it right to be able to pick and choose when the papers/news can report on their lives, or should it be, once they sell their souls to the publicity devil, then, as long as no laws are broken, they are fair game?

I have no real desire to know the ins and outs of someone's life, they are entitled to their privacy the same as everyone else.
