There are people who JUST mail me to comment on forum topics because they have lifetime bans. I thought they were lurkers too shy to post at first. So they haven't deleted and returned.

There are people who JUST mail me to comment on forum topics because they have lifetime bans. I thought they were lurkers too shy to post at first. So they haven't deleted and returned.

This is what prompted me to ask the question as think they would have to post something particularly nasty to get one thus not someone I'd like to get chatting to.

Some of them are alright but could learn some tact. Others are offensive and end up on my block list, along with the people who don't have a ban but take objection to something I have posted and feel the need to send me an offensive comment.

wonder what its based on.. amount of timeouts, or two weeks worth of timeouts broken up into varying sections

like 6 bans - permanant ban regardless of severity of crime

or is it each person is given a set amount of hours worth of time outs

Ok lets put this one to bed.

You only get a perm if you have posted something that Admin deem totally innapropriate or you have recieved many bans.

For those people who tot up bans like there is no tommorow, be careful.

For the people who assume someone else has a perm ban but is posting, they could be being monitered / are using another account to get round a ban or were not given a perm ban originally.

If you do think someone is using another account to get round a ban then you can report it and Admin will check it out.
