Hot shower but flip it to cold before I get out, then at least 3 brews and I'm set

I'm struggling to motivate myself this morning. Then again, I was up at 2am cutting battens for the back of a bookcase, (with a hand saw, not with power tools).

I'm just naturally a night time person.

I feel your pain, I am a night owl too, many years of working nights has buggered up my sleep pattern, there was an article in the news about how its long term affects on people on the BBC website, quite interesting.

Weekdays it's usually 45 minutes trying to convince my daughter she wants to get up and get ready for school. After that I'm wide away and raring to go... away... anywhere.

I just think that in (hopefully) 40-50 years I'll be dead so why waste life laying in bed!! Get up and do something

All the motivation I need !!

Nice warm shower then out the door in 30 mins and drive to town. I have breakfast after I get into work. I enjoy the half hour peace before the others get in at 9am
