Lost 8 stone in 2 years feel the best I have for years and find out today I have epilepsy ! I m really pissed now

Keep your chin up.

Some medications nowadays mean epilepsy can be controlled,it just takes a bit of time to find the right dosage.

Stick with the meds and all the best x

epilepsy can be controlled quite well these days so is not often the terrible thing it used to be.

although at the moment i'm sure that is little comfort to you. take some time to digest the diagnosis then set about researching and collating any questions you will undoubtedly have for your doctors.

Look at the bright side - it could have been worse, like a degenerative condition with no cure.

As the others have said, epilepsy can be controlled quite well through medications.
