Seems to me there's hardly anyone left who knows when to use "your" or "you're"?

Or "their" , "there" and "they're"?

Or is everyone just lazy? Lol!

They’re = They fucking are.

Their = Shows fucking possession.

There = Specifies a fucking location.

You’re = You fucking are.

Your = Shows fucking possession.

We’re = We fucking are.

Were = Past fucking tense of “are”.

Where = Specifies a fucking location.

Its = Shows fucking possession

Loose = Not fucking fixed in place

Lose = Cease to fucking keep

I put my errors down to poor eyesight + tiny text and a back lit screen.

Whilst some may not understand grammar and struggle with spellings, many are fully aware, but messages on a swinging site are hardly important are they?

It should also be taken into consideration that many people use phones to access the site and predictive text can be challenging at times.

I am of reasonable intelligence, my command of the English language is good, I know the difference between your and you're. However I make many typing errors using my phone, I also miss small words out at times because my brain races ahead. I don't read posts and messages back because I don't feel I need to invest that time.

I am certain that my words written on this site are not going to become great literary masterpieces , therefore im not going to try too hard

I wouldn't type words such as nawty, gawjus, dat, dis, neva, etc, it doesn't feel right for me, I do however shorten though to tho if I'm on a site for entertainment/friends emails, I wouldn't in a professional capacity

The great thing about language is that it is always evolving, new words and phrases are constantly being created (selfie was the new word of 2013!), and we somehow make ourselves understood. Personally I like to try and get things right (I frequently fail in this) and have a preference for those who think the same, for me it is important.

Me too! A guy who makes an effort by spelling and using punctuation correctly, is far more sexy than one who doesn't bother, and/or just uses text-speak!

Text messaging abbreviations are also a problem. USA schools have too much politics these days. I've also heard that some elementary schools no longer teach penmanship and cursive writing anymore.
