This reference will be lost to most people but I reckon anyone living in certain parts of Hertfordshire will fully understand when I say Simmons breakfast baps are to die for!

Hello all,

my preference, good bakers white bread sliced and toasted (this stops the bread going to a soggy mush) and thick cut quality bacon with some sliced tomato as an option, no sauce, it's not needed.

Alec

Bacon has to be smoked streaky, white bread or 50/50, toasted, butter on one, English or Dijon mustard on the other.

Same for sausages that are sliced in half length-way.

Having a spicy cheese and roast pork pan-fried sandwich for breakfast soon.

For sausage lovers, I did notice sausage baps at £1, if you buy a hot drink, in Morrisons this week.

Here in Ireland cooked at home superquinn sausages, rashers, egg and some white pudding all between 2 slices of fresh Brennan's bread.

Lunch just can't beat tayto sandwiches again on fresh Brennan's bread.

"how do you eat your?

Correct - bacon requires ketchup, and eggs require HP, so bacon and eggs present a real dilemma!!

I do like superqinn sausages. If it's breakfast I'll have it with brown sauce , for lunch French mustard.

I'm the opposite. Red sauce with sausage, brown with bacon. And definitely no mayo!
