So many people are too far away for a viable journey, but I just had a stroke of genius. or just a stroke, they don't know yet.

How viable would it be to arrange a 7 day trip in which you might stay with a few couples or individuals for one or two nights of that trip, stopping at 2-4 places on the way. Having some great sex and doing a bit of sightseeing, getting somewhere to stay, a nice dinner, some drinks and company and a great little trip around a part of the UK....? Would make a great break for motorbikers in the spring too.

What do you guys think? Obviously there are always pitfalls but I think you could make it work. Thinking about it, it may be one for the single guys more than couples and women, but hey, who am I to judge!

I'm doing something similar.

After the social next week my next trip is to Newcastle where I hope to meet with some of the NE people for dinner and a laugh.

I've already been to Belfast as part of my tour this year and I am planning other places where there is something I want to see or do and maybe there will be someone I want to see or do too.

I posted a thread about this a whole ago as I go on a bit of a road trip on Sunday for 2 weeks. Actually got a really good response. I have got dates and locations now for those still interested

I'm also doing similar... Birmingham twice in feb, Amsterdam, north hants, swingers holiday destination, Manchester and list will grow!

I'm doing bits here and there. As I am self employed it is more difficult to get a chunk of time. If I have a client outside London then it's possible to just add an extra day too, sometimes.

I think you should definitely do it....but only if you include cornwall on your travels

I think you should definitely do it....but only if you include cornwall on your travels

It depends.....if it's someone I know and like and already talk to and just haven't met because of distance, or maybe if they were really exceptional...........

But I get a lot of messages saying 'I'm staying in a hotel in your area next week.....' and they get deleted on site mostly, even if I find them attractive enough to talk to if they were local it just seems like cannon fodder.

our holiday this year s going up to scotland (taking a couple of days to get there and a couple back) so will probably be having a few meets on the trip, although we will be staying in hotels rather than bumming accommodation off those we meet lol

But the point is you don' stay at a hotel, you stay at theirs for the night, and treat the rest of your free time as a holiday before moving onto the next leg of your trip.

So you'd have to make sure there are no fall throughs and that you know everything is in place and you'll get on with the folks.... but it sounds ike a penny saving, sex bathed and fun trip lol

I agree. I would only consider meeting people I have arranged to see because we have chatted etc. I also only choose places where I fancy doing something so that the meet part is an addition.

Yea, I realise. It's just if you don't already know them, a proposition from a stranger who is 'just passing through' can feel a bit insulting - though something tells me you'd get away with it just fine, haha! And thinking about it I did it myself the other week and had a brilliant night!

If they're forumites you get on with already then why not. I must admit I don't get the point of just organising random socials on my travels though - why would I get on with someone just 'cos they like sex/swinging?

I've got two city trips coming up in a few months and thought about mailing a few for a social meet. I wouldn't expect or want to stay with anyone as I'd rather stick with my hotels, plus I'm only doing it for the social side.

I thought it would be nice to put faces to names and body parts

This is all very true. I'd speak to them on the phone a fair few times first, make sure we can have a laugh. Sounds complicated but doable lol

And to be fair to me, I get on well with most people, I'm very social and have an easy laugh so hey, why not!
