I go into hiding if I am going to be away or I need a breather from getting daft messages. My friends all know how to get hold of me.

Various reasons but the aim in doing it is to reduce or stop the number of people contacting them. Often its just a rest or a break as admin suggest that instead of deleting a profile.

You won't appear in searches and your text will be hidden from view. People can still see your pictures unless you take them out of the public gallery and they can still message you unless you set your filters to stop everyone contacting you.

You can read and still do everything you do now, they just cannot read yours

We accepted and tried to message the hidden profile that added us but we couldn't so deleted them lol

its mainly women as they cannot handle the amount of messages they av in there inbox or there partners have caught them sleepin around lol
