Drive round your city see all your old "haunts/bars/clubs" that are no longer there anymore and think "shit those were good times".

Because I just did and one of my favorite hangouts has just been pulled down. .pile of bricks.

Crap, where I live there are just woods and fields....think they tore down a sheep trough though being Welsh is never admit its an old haunt

There's 5 that have closed and 1 demolished within 200 yards of where I live now that I used to visit in the early 90's

i went on a road trip to Warminster and did just that.. i only left 8yr ago but god times have changed. Saw my old house, school, where my first job was, visited the playparks

Part of me wants to return to Padderborn/Sennelager (Germany) as this is where my childhood was spent but worried it might ruin already amazing memories.

Where I grew up everywhere has turned into a trendy cafe or bar. Cocktails abound where once it was beer and pie, mash and eels.

Brighton is one of my favourite places ever I love it. If I could afford it, I'd move there tomorrow!

It was good we used to bmx in the yard after hours and smoke cigs and stuff.

The places I remember when I used to go out round here have gone or just closed.

The Gari is now flats

Bourbon street became Zen and is now closed

Rosies is closed

Long bar is closed

Tiffanys is now Atlantis.

Nah, they only remove posts. There are mods in Brighton and rockers meet down a cafe on the seafront

Where I grew up is unrecognisable from my childhood. Its probably a good thing, Wandsworth was a shit hole. Now its a shit hole with people with more money than sense living there!

I never go back to the part of Brum I grew up in and probably never will. But even the centre changes massively on the odd occasion I venture back.

For a time I used to live a few miles away from Xtasia so I'm curious to see how that area has changed when I'm there next week
