"My ex GF used to have a pair of tawny owls and a pair of barn owls. All four were rescued road accident victims and they drove the family mad when she first brought them home as they were communicating with all of thw wild owls in the village!" I hope she had the relevant paperwork from Animal Health as it is illegal to keep wild injured birds without it.

I hope she had the relevant paperwork from Animal Health as it is illegal to keep wild injured birds without it. " I`m pretty sure she did. She actually took them over from somone else. She kept them in a quiet corner of her garden and maintained the least contact with them as she could so they kept pretty close to the wild as she could. My ex gf would remove any eggs that she could but once the barn owls wouldn`t her get near them and they hatched them. Despite the chicks being raised by wild parents, she was not allowed to release them to the wild.

"I've been toying with the idea of getting an Iguana but I'm still a little unsure, anyone here have an unusual Pet besides their other half " Iguana's get really big so you have to have the room in your house to build a big vivarium for them. Imo animals like reptiles birds etc should be left in the wild and not kept as domestic pets in cages etc but thats just my opinion. If I was you Id do a lot of research before you rush into anything like that speak to the pros people in the know etc
