38 years old next birthday, and im sat watching the indoor bowling champs on the tv.

i think its time for pipe n slippers.

when did you realise you werent as young as you once were?

Every single morning: crack, creak, groan.

Every time I turn the radio on: this isn't music.

Every time I turn the tv on: who's that? This is a waste of my tv licence.

Every time I take the dog for a walk: when I was a kid this was all fields.

My daughter came in while I was watching the bowls yesterday and she thought I was being sarcastic or joking, having it on the TV - she didn't know that I was serious and think that it's quite good.

I don't really watch any sports usually but something about the huge distance and curving the balls in... erm... what was I saying again?

it actually appeals to the engineer in me, the calculation of angle and weights.

the same with pool and snooker lol.

my god, i think i also need to buy some sandals and grow a beard lol
