Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Books, shoes, clothes, paperwork (just in case), presents I don't like, want or need in case I offend by getting rid of them. My guilty hoard is bedding. I have spare duvets as well as a cupboard full of sheets.

I used to be but I'm now having a clearout and making frequent trips to local charity shops. Started when I lost weight and Id take my clothes in. Now I'm looking round and seeing other things that I don't look at / use / got fed up of and getting rid of those too.

It helps that I'm doing my house up room by room and having to shift things! I'm turning minimalistic

Ju is awful for this, it's a family trait her father is the same. I have a system for this though. I gradually move all the stuff be it clothes, books, old bags , broken toasters and the like into boxes and promise to out them in the loft. Then in my day off I either charity shop them or dump them. If she ever asks for that toaster that broke in 1997 I'll be in trouble.

Yes I am but only clothes, shoes and accessories. Im not as bad with home furnishings or ornaments, though I do go through obsessions where I buy a lot of a certain item, like cups, plates, bedding etc, but its not a constant thing.

What is constant is my love of accessories and clothes. I buy things like hats, scarves, hair accessories, jewellery, tights, material, buttons, diamantes, lace, appliques, as I alter a lot of my clothing to embellish . I have a walk in wardrobe which has shelving and that is full of boxes containing these things and I also have 2 double wardrobes.

At least its all tidy and packed away, I couldn't stand having mess around

This is me exactly... Without the walk in wardrobe ( but stuff stashed in too many places)

I would love to get rid of some but I just think I will wear it and use it all... I like it all tidy though and put away.

That I want a tidy house and organisation.

Also I think if I haven't used the item over the past year then I must not need it.

If its good enough to sell in eBay then I may sell a few things to treat myself to something new.

House no but garage yes, I've got bits for cars and motorbikes galore, handy if someone wants a starter motor for a 1987 Fiesta 1.3 or a headlight for a 2001 Suzuki gixxer and if ya need a rear wiper motor for a Fiat Punts then look no further, I darnt even think of the Land rover spares, body panels etc that's in there

I used to be until I lost my entire home including contents. Now I don't horde anything. Pretty much everything gets thrown out or taken to charity if I no longer want or need something... Much less stressful having a decluttered home.

In the middle

No I cannot stand clutter and junk and have minimal personal belongings, not many ornaments or nik-naks of any kind.

I think my mother put me off years ago as every shelf or table or anything that stands still too long has something placed on it and all the kitchen cupboards are full of things that "will come in useful for something", we just don't know what

My rule on that is one bottle at a time. I'm not allowed to open a new one until the other is finished. It works, mostly.

Buying travel size toiletries is always tempting though.
