What brand do you buy and use to make your perfect cuppa.

We like Asda's chosen by you tea bags,made in a mug,tea bag left for a good while,top back up with hot water and milk no sugar.AHHHH mmmmm

Tetleys milk and teabag in first add water let it brew 5 minutes remove tea bag add 2 spoonfuls if sugar

I used Yorkshire for years. Now for YEARS more I have used P.G.

One cup in a mug......squash it hard on the side of the cup ....fling in bin and eat t bag......guffawwwww....

Yes Chocolate Tea, its nice , but only every now and then, I am really a coffee drinker mostly, but only have the odd cup, maybe I drink 3 cups of tea a day at the most.

Tea bags where invented by accident.

Tea merchants started sending out samples in sewn silk bags. the buyers dropped them straight into water instead of emptying them. Hey prestow Tea bag invented.

class please sit still!

Though Im told the paper bags change the taste and if you realy like tea, you should have tea leaves.

Haven't had tea made with loose leaves for years, used to hate it when my grandad made tea as he never bothered with a strainer.

I wonder if it may be the 20-30% plastic in the bags that change the flavour. White paper is usually bleached in some way too.

Watched a program a few months ago and using cutlery made of different metals makes food taste different. If you only want to taste the food you should be using gold cutlery.

Whatever is on offer in the supermarket at the time. Yorkshire, tetleys, pg, morrisons own, doesn't really matter to me. It's all in the way you make it anyway, some people can really ruin a cup of tea.

Yorkshire tea. Strong, a little milk and, if it's morning or I'm having a c*** day then a sugar.

Had a horribly experience at my parents when my Mam decided to start drinking Earl Grey (or lesbian tea as my dad has taken to calling it?!?) Wouldn't be a problem if she hadn't put it where the normal tea bags were. Bleugh!!!! That was not a good wake up brew!

But I don't think you can beat a good old fashioned teapot and leaves.

It got bought out. We've got two in York.

I used to drink Russian Caravan Tea but it got too expensive so am drinking Builders Tea.

I only drink green tea and have cound the Co-op home branded ones to be the best even beats Twinnings.. But have PG in for guests however they all seem to be coffee drinkers and I think im just managing the perfect coffee after many months of reg instruction..

I worked in tea tasting at Tetley as a student, its where they work out how to blend the leaves to get the same taste each time the make a new batch. The tasters drink Royal Maison tea.

Tea was in decline, coffee so much faster to make. They tried Instant tea and it failed. The tea bag is instant tea and tea leaves such that a rapid cuppa can be made ... Around the same time as instant coffee.

If you grind roasted beans and barrister a cup of coffee then tea leaves made with water from a copper kettle takes about the same time.

If you're an instant coffee drinker then the teabag has been made to now take the sane time .. Water temp being the only difference. Coffee water should not be boiling. ... Although I think as instant even that no longer matters.

My preference, Tetley tea.
