It's a special birthday for luke this year!

The big 40... And his family keep asking if we are doing anything, hinting at a birthday party!

What did you do on your 40th? I spent the weekend camping at the hickstead horse show! And thoroughly enjoyed it!

So are you thinking another party or something different?

I personally detest surprises, so had my camping trip planned way in advance

Gloucester

I (Mush) worked all day for my 40th then went out for some drinks with my best man as I was getting married the next day!! Kitty wanted to get married on my birthday but I put my foot down. I wasn't gonna have to buy her a present on all the rest of my birthdays!

I spent my 40th and Valentine's Day in Paris with my late partner, with excellent meals at top restaurants, dinner cruise down the Seine, etc. etc...

It was dreamy, and memories of those few days will always cheer up me whenever I am low.

Brighton - even Hove!

I was on a beach in France, looking at topless ladies, drinking wine, having a picnic and with my family. Very memorable.

My family took me to a theme park. It was supposed to be a surprise but the kids told me. I still pretended to be surprised, the adults believed me.
