I'm having a similar dilemma.

I like being able to put it up in the simple way I do (I can wield a clip and that's it) and to have it down for parties. A friend said that I am now too old to have it this long though. I think it's only aging if your hair isn't in good condition.

If you cut it what sort of style would you get?

When I was in my twenties I used to say I'll cut it short when I'm 35...35 seemed old then!

It's still long and I'm 47, but its days are numbered.

I think I'd go for a bob Lickety, but keep it longer at the front, if you know what I mean. Yes you do. The only thing I have chubby cheeks don't wanna look like an overstuffed hamster

Maybe a shaggy bob then. Or an asymmetrical one.

Yeah I may just have a few inches of feme. I once had it cropped really short. Danny said I looked like a lesbian. If only he'd known well he was half right

Lol, my hair was down nearly to my bum and I went really really short, never regretted it, but do what you feel is right for you, nothing worse after having a hair cut, looking in the mirror and crying.....good luck.

I had long hair half way down my back til I was 40 then I was called as a witness in a court case so chopped it all off to taken more seriously.

Still miss it - apart from when I'm washing my hair because now it dries almost instantly rather than be wearing a sexy towel wrapped around my head for a while.

Go short gradually, a few inches at a time, it's less of a shock to the system, and as before said, any age can carry off long locks, if healthy and glossy!!

Cruellas hair is short..!

I like my hair long I wear it up most days but down when its been washed its in great condition white now unless its shocking pink but i havent done that since sept

Short hair definitely doesn't suit me not had it up by my ears since I was 25. Wear it how you feel comfortable.

It's taken me over 2 years to get my hair this length as I used to have it so short so I'm buggered if I'm cutting it off anytime soon
