If you are getting a certain vibe from someone , good or bad, it's best realise that you and your beliefs and needs are part of that vibe.

I feel I know who I want to know and who I don't pretty early on. Online or off. I'm always part of the equation tho.

I get it wrong if I don't listen to my intuition. Like granny says, we're part of the equation. As far as I'm concerned, my intuition warns ME of an incompatibility and NOT necessarily a judgement/condemnation of that other person.

Still struggle to understand how an individual can change so dramatically in a short space of time.

A spot of introspective navel-gazing may answer that. It's usually a deed, action or in this modern world, text or email or indeed, all of the above, that prompt/s the other person to react.
