does anyone else have the very annoying problem of people sending winks or friends invites when no message has been sent and even from people that don’t match your profile (who cant read) and do any of you reply to these people with either why just a wink/friends invite or something along the lines of did you not read our profile

sorry for this little rant lol

but its really getting past a joke

feel free to rant about what you like on here lol

Nope, it doesn't annoy us in the slightest.

We never even look at our winks or friends invites.

But even if we did, life is too short to be annoyed over a piddling little matter like that.

o well from our point of view anyone who sends just a friends invite is a picture collector and wink wise we dont see the point if its free to message we can understand if you had to pay to message people but you dont lol

Two options, a poilte thanks but no thanks back to them, or just delete them. With us its the former if its a message and the latter if its a wink. Like you we really can't see the point of the wink option.

O o O oo

Some people complain when they get too many messages, so maybe people are winking to show they are interested to save on peoples mails?

Who knows, but as the option is there then people will use it.

There is one good thing, you don't have to accept them, you can just delete them and they will be gone in a flash

Some people act as if hey have had a steaming lump of dog poo left in their inbox when they get a wink or a friends invite

You don't even have to look at a wink or a friends invite if you don't want to,all you have to do is press a button and hey presto its gone

I like winks

I don't like friends invites but I don't like half the messages I get either but its all part of having a profile on a swinging site,so I would'nt let it bother me in the slightest,we have enough fun on here to compensate for a rubbish message or an unwanted friend invite

we look at all winks/invites and if we like the look of them we`ll message thm back.

we take it that they like the look of us and are testing the water to see if we like them.

what does wind us up is invites with no pics but we guess thats a different thread.

I am flabergasted that anyone can be so easily offended by a few winks being sent to them?

As others have already said, you either don't bother to look at the winks sent to you or you just click on them all and delete them.

Ditto.........some people need to loosen up.

A wink to me shows someone is interested and is a good ice breaker.

we love getting winks... hopefully it shows that people are interested.

if we are not too keen we dont have to wink back.

if we like them we do.

I think it's just a nice icebreaker or a way of saying you look nice or I like what you wrote on your profile - doesn't necessarily mean you're interested in getting together. Take it as a complement I say. I don't use them much but I wouldn't be offended if I received them, even if the people didn't interest me. I think friend invites are different, I kind of figure you "make friends" once you've started to chat and taken an interest in each other, maybe you share a few more pics with your circle of friends. My 2 pence anyhow.

I totally agree with the poster. What's even more annoying, is when they wink you, you take time to send them a really nice reply, ...and nothing!!! It's as annoying as an internet version of 'knock down ginger'.

Don't have a problem with winks.

However the friends invites from people you have never even spoken too really is annoying and to be fair its not always single guys profiles either.

A wink to me is a lazy way of trying to get my attention. I assume the person winks at 100 others so just delete.

The friends invite is just nosey picture collectors. Well thats my view any way.

Couldn't agree more...

Never ending road works, rising business rates, shoplifters, MP's etc etc....these really annoy me as I have no option but to encounter them on a daily basis, but something as trivial as a wink or friends invite on a swingers site that is not compulsory to join....nah!

We take them as a complment mostly..but if someone has sent a firneds invite without a message as to why or we havnt swapped messages previously we are a little bewildered why..so we always check their profile to see if we are what they are looking for...if we are not then we delete them.

Some people have sent messages just to say they like our profile and its a shame we are nor real swingers etc..which we both think is really nice of them...we have made a few friends that way too..and they have always turned uot really nice people...which is surely what its all about...not always down the pure shagging?

Well said, totally agree.

If we had to wait to come into contact with other members simply through chat or maybe get to know them through the forums before we decide to become friends then it would take us months/years to come into contact with as many members as it takes days/weeks right now.

It`s an informal icebreaker nothing more or less(imo).
