Non Vanilla Land

I recently posted a request for information on holidays in France ... and was really touched by the effort people made on the forum and in PM me giving advice and help ... have just booked a week in August as a result !!! Nice to know we can help each other out on non sex related issues too !!!

What helpful advice have you received from fellow fabsters ???

Never go to an event just because someone you get along with it going as if the vast majority of the people you don't get long with will always shine through at some point.

"This too will pass."

......and most depression is caused by worrying about things that will never happen.

Or sorry didn't read all the post .

All the fabsters I get along with have all told me the same thing and I agree with them anyway, but you can't change who you are sadly.

And of course the most important piece of advice...

"Don't go near the fab forums tonight"

"Why not"

"Cause your pissed"

'Just be yourself and don't worry about what others think'.

...and that's what i've started doing after three years of being on here. And now, i'm finally enjoying the site.

You build up your problems to something big and untacklable, when they can be sorted one small step at a time
