With all the hullabaloo about a number of managers under pressure and the advent of the transfer window: because sports journalists outside both transfer windows are short of copy, it seems managers are the new focus of speculation. Perhaps it's time the FA imposed similar sanctions on clubs, regarding managerial appointments, i.e you can only change managers in the windows.
