"We think it's time to have a page where if anyone lets people down more than once you can blacklist them so other people can look at it to see who the time waster are we travel over 30 mile to meet a couple who had our mobile number but could not bother to ring text or send us a message to say they could not meet up with us this as made us not feeling able to trust anyone again"

To be honest its your responsibility, its too easy to blame others for your selection process.

If a page like that was created on here what is to stop people abusing the system?

For example, you blacklist someone simply because they turn you down and don't want to meet, or you blacklist them because you had a disagreement with them on the forums?

How would you get around abuse of the system?

you mean something like this....

I was suppose to meet _hester fun today.... I talked to the couple for a few weeks now... I made the effort to travel to meet a couple who had my mobile number

I then tried to ring them and nothing...

avoid this couple like the plague, they are unreliable

you meet like that.....

Admin have said there will never be a name and shame page. If you think someone has broken site rules report them and let Admin check them out
