I hate it when people just ignore your message!

Or just delete it, what happened to common decency?

Even if someone isn't your cup of tea, at least tell them, not just ignore them... Just rude if you ask me

This again?

OP, do a search. This discussion comes up regularly.

Short version: it's not rude and you are not entitled to a reply. You decide to use your time messaging. It's up to them if they want to use their time replying. Nobody has a right to reply here. What does a reply change anyway? You still wouldn't get a meet. It would still be a no.

There are several other reasons people don't reply too.

Get over it.

Don't you just hate it when people ignore the thread topic and just have their own conversation. It's just so rude!

There's only so many times I can be bothered to type it all out.

Better than simply ignoring the post complaining about being ignored.

Since you're feeling so helpful, you could answer the question and save everyone else from doing it for the 15th time this month

If you had been here as long as I have virtually all subjects have been covered several times over, although in all seriousness I can understand how frustrating it must be to go in ever decreasing circles.

Take a no response as a polite no thanks.

Look at it another way - do you respond to all the companies you get junk mail from?

"Jheeeeeze sorry for voicing my opinion on a public forum! "

You're perfectly entitled to voice your opinion OP But site rules say it's not rude not to respond. Personal and when I'm up for meeting, I answer those that have obviously read my profile and send a decent message but I have tight filters in place so dont get many messages, but that's not the case for a lot of other single women and couples. Hence it's quicker and easier to just delete.

In the middle

I have it on my profile that I may delete your mail but don`t take it personally as my profile says I am not looing for new meets at the moment, however people still mail and I am sorry but I have given you fare warning, its up to people how they deal with their mail.

Brighton - even Hove!

I've seen a few profiles, thought 'they look nice', looked closer and I'd message them months ago and not had a reply. The unwritten reply is, of course, a 'thanks but no thanks' or as I prefer to translate it 'Christ, we'd love to steve but we're too far away'.

I'd like a big house in the country with staff to run it for me and a butler. And Philip Winchester as a sex slave. I think I'll post saying how unfair it is I don't have those things.

I'd also like blokes to acknowledge my profile by not messaging me when they are clearly not what I am looking for. That ain't gonna happen either so I got over it.

The site is what it is.

I am with you all the way on this one Ryan.

I just wrote a lovely email to a couple and read there profile everything.

Done as everyone says and they straight block me.

That's just rude dam dam dam rude.

This thing about people not showing manners should stop.

Why is it that because yr Internet to internet you don't have to show manners.

But if you say were in a club you would say hello and get chatting.

But to many people on here think they don't have to reply.

If all those who thought the same as us would leave there be no web site for fab swingers

"Jheeeeeze sorry for voicing my opinion on a public forum! "

Of course you can voice your opinion. We don't always get the responses we want when we put a thread up but that is the risk of a public forum.

Find your voice, get to know people, send a good message and you might get more responses.

Your age may be a reason for not getting a response as might any number of other reasons.

My profile says I'm not meeting and that I'm straight, yet I still regularly get messages from men wanting a meet. I replied to a few pointing out their error and had plenty of abuse from it. So now I delete and ignore, unless its a message from a friend or just a generally friendly message (yes, people do send them).

It's not deemed as rude if you don't reply to all your messages, if they don't reply just take that as a no, and move on!

The couple weren't interested and probably blocked to prevent your time and their time being wasted in future.

Of course they don't HAVE to reply just as you didn't HAVE to message them.

Somehow I doubt it's the people moaning about not getting replies that are the backbone, keeping this site running.
