The Crash of 79 by Paul Erdman and the Art of War by Sun Tzu (I'm trying to impress: failing miserably) bored shitless. Desperation by Stephen King keeps getting in the way.

Got given this at work years ago!

Never been one for the whole 'motivational psychology' type stuff - but it is a good read!

"Skagboys! can't seem to get into it though."

I can usually get into anything, but couldn't get into this. I'd be able to read a few paragraphs, subconsciously changing the dialect writing for proper English, then I'd lose it and have to think whay they are saying, which is difficult when you're trying to get into a story.

I can't even remember what my book is called and my kindle is in where my other half is sleeping so don't want to disturb. But it's about a girl who's adopted to parents who apparently can't have children, but then go on to have biological children, and end up physically and mentally abusing her. But the other half of the book is about her recovery and success in life which is something I find so uplifting. I read a lot of books of the same scenario of abuse and recovery/success. Lauz xx
