Werthers Originals

Yesterday i got a bit hungry and i needed something in my mouth (interpret that however you wish). Discovered i had a packet of Werthers Originals. Now, i've never tried that (i know, i live a sheltered life).

I've realised something. They are rather delicious. I must have been on cam and ate like 10. Now, i'm going to work with 5 in my pocket.

...i think there's trouble ahead.

Bleugh.....I want to like these for nostalgic reasons (gran always had them) but I used to get car sick as a child and these remind me of that when I've tried them since! Werthers originals and pink jelly babies

My granddad bought me a pack of these every week. When he died and we went round his house afterwards there was a packet for me left in his drawer. I never ate them and still have the packet now unopened

We like these sweets but cannot remember them from our childhood, sure they are only a relatively newish sweet around twenty years old, or at least the name Werther Originals is.

The sweet people remember must have been something very similar beyond that, a generic butterscotch caramel type sweet.

Delicious though, might have to nip out to the shops to get some
