being such a huge college basketball fan I know about jimmy V and the '85 NC State team...

the college basketball ones are really strong, my favourite is actually "the Guru of Go" about Paul Westhead and the Loyola Marymount team of the late 80's.. Hank Gathers and Bo Kimble

I love the 30 for 30 series...

"4 days in october" about the red soxs and the yankees,

"the two escobars" about the columbian football player who was killed...

The "U" about the university of miami american football team

"into the wind" about terry fox, who lost a leg thru cancer, running across canada (that one will make you cry!)

and "the announcemnt" when magic johnson had the press conference to say he had HIV

my favourite is actually "june 17, 1994"... because even thought the headline of that day was the OJ simpson slow car chase... you forget there was a whole lot else that happened on that day (opening of the world cup in the us, game 3 of the NBA finals, The rangers having the parade to celebrate their first stanley cup in 50 years.....)
