I can see why now some after years are coming out as feel its safe too and people will listen and if lived with it years need to have justice . But you could get some long term crazy fan really have it in for them and could say what ever to get to them and be part of there life .

we dont know if any of its true or not of course, but jim davidson said if he hadnt been able to prove where he was at the time the offences were meant to have taken place all those years ago he doesnt know what would have happened. how many people can say and prove where they were on the exact date and year.

I have to admit to having a lot of sympathy for all these old men. The fact is that if I was accused of anything 10 years ago never mind in the 60s or 70s my only chance of proving my innocence would be if I could prove beyond doubt that I was somewhere else and that would be down to luck. The fact that with a little research anyone could find where these celebrates were appearing makes them even more vulnerable. It must also be remembered that with the new sentencing rules there is great pressure to plead guilty if you cant prove your innocence beyond all doubt. And as far as I know its not like there are records of complaints to the police at the time that were not acted on (as with Savile).

It seems to me be a given we will be seeing lots more cases like these since we have no statute of limitation on sexual crimes.

i have 'sympathy' with anyone wrongly accused, would imagine it is absolutely traumatic beyond most of our understanding..

with Stuart Hall there was a bit more than just knowing where he was on x,y or z day and night..

mostly i have the greatest empathy for victims who confided in family or the 'authorities' decades ago only to have their story ignored or told 'they are just too powerfull/rich' to go up against in a Court of Law..

the levels of conviction for sexual assault should be an area of national concern, that folks choose not to come forward for a lack of faith in the system needs addressing..

I have concerns that should anyone in any walk of life is accused of something decades ago if innocent how can you actually prove it. But the jurors will have access to all the evidence and make an inforned decision and that is how it has to be.

The low level of conviction is probably more to do with the difficulty in securing sufficient evidence and the longer the interval between alleged offence and complaint, the harder it gets.

In Law many things have time limitations on them why do others linger for decades where there can be very limited evidence etc? or is it just people jumping on the bandwagon for fame or fortune? If it was a crime why has it taken so long to come out?

I know this story and was reading this recently. Considering the very high profile names involved in this particular case, I would be very surprised to find out it is untrue. Purely because they would have sued by now.

As for the current prosecutions, I will not comment until after the trials have finished.

If they're found guilty, they'll face 'jail justice'. Those guys are not find of rapists and peodophiles.

I do believe there's no smoke without fire but equally there's always a media feeding frenzy that will destroy a mans whole life wether he's innocent or guilty.

I'll reserve judgment until the trial but there must be something fishy going on.

Look at the shit that bloke from Coronation Street went through, only to be vindicated in court. The sad thing is, I don't know his name (I think its Kevin on the show) but I know what he was accused of.

This is the major problem, if you are not guilty or something specific happened, it would be very lucky to know where you were on a certain day 40 months ago let alone years.

Not sure a fair trial for either side is possible after so long.

The reason Stuart Hall was charged was nothing to do with dates but because the accusers all documented similar patterns of behavior and clearly couldn't have known each other.

I wouldn't believe a word Jim Davidson said regarding why the charges were dropped, I'm not sure that CPS even make it known to the accused as to why the charges are not taken forward.

Most of the research is from information out there, from photos, it's not clap trap, some threads maybe but you get claptrap threads on all sites

They are piecing everything together, haven't been on that thread for ages, not nice things to read.

Like this female mp who is alleged yo have abused boys who's associated with guys that did snuff movies in Holland etc and the mps who were part of the paedophile information exchange where they would meet at a guest house.

hasn't the law on libel been changed recently, in effect to reduce the number of cases and to stop the Uk being the libel capital of the world, to the effect that anyone pursuing libel has to show a much greater effect of the harm done?

The info is out there hidden in plain sight, from clippings of newspaper articles, magazines and news reports.

Just like the female mp, not sure or have looked on who it is, but her acquaintances I read about last year, which was despicable things.

Its a massive jigsaw and a total headfuck too.

Like I said haven't been on that thread for over a year and worms are slowly coming out if the can.

As to will we ever get to the bottom of it I don't really know, but that Saville was well connected.

David Icke and jerry sadowitz both outed jimmy savile years ago.

Lizard people aside, Icke does often break stories the rest of the media won't touch.
