If the dr says to do it, best bet is to follow their professional advice

All the best

I'm assuming you have been diagnosed with diabetes.

I would raise your awareness around diabetes and how to manage it by using the internet and getting your GP to refer you to the nurse or local support groups.

The short answer is if you need insulin then yes it will make you feel better.

...... or you could stop a stranger in the street and ask them what they think.

Leeds.

Are you type 2 ?

Usually diet control and/or tablets control the condition well. However it's not unknown for some type 2 diabetics to require some insulin therapy to assist the individual to achieve better control.

.. Have family members on it, and yes! Once they had to go on insulin they felt heaps better. You will get plenty of support when you first start it. And be monitored closely. Can take a bit of time to get regulated on it, and may seem caotic at first. But eventually you will get used to it all and all will become the norm for you ( with re to regular blood testin/ jabs etc.) good luck with all...
