thats the problem, and always has been with credit.

when you dont need it, you cant get it.

when you have nothing, you cant move for offers of credit

then you have to figure out a way of paying it back, and thats where the trouble starts.

its shite.

i went bankrupt nearly 10 years ago now, and i swore from that day i would NEVER get into debt again, and, touch wood, apart from lending a few quid off my olds every now and then, i have stuck to that.

i agree with what Martin Lewis wants in schools.

money management and budgetting.

kids leave school now without a sense of the worth of a quid.

either their parents have too much so they dont care about it, or the parents have never had it, so its never really been something thats been discussed between child and parent.

either way, this is the reason these limpit loan companies are thriving.

Epsom

I bailed my friend out of a payday loan with quick quid had a 1362% APR

For paying the balance £926.02 of in one lump sum, she got £10 off the total amount owed. So generous of them. The man we spoke to, was surprised that she was paying the whole amount off in one go and he seemed reluctant to have the account settled.....

My friend is still paying me back in mthly installments with no interest. God knows how long she would be paying quick quid for...

Masked and Distant

Watched most of it.

Really nice guy, hope he is selective in who he gives loans to.

Bet there are some shiites that would take advantage and not pay him.

Not so sure I agree with this. Yes it was nice of him to pay some of the con artist loans off but the cost of doing so in return for prime time tv is insignificant. Besides his company charges 8.9-14.9% for loans which is twice or three times the best rates out there. Not such a good guy after all IMO...
