Ruby" is this his choice though? i get called a part time daddy and nothing grates me more, my wife left me and weekend daddy was what the courts left me, but i'm still their dad when that not at mine | |||

"I see that quite frequently on Social Networking sites.. but surely even if a person works it doesn't mean they are a 'part time parent' " I always read that as a bit of a statement - a justification for not working. Which there should be no need for. In my view there should be no stigma for a parent choosing to be as available as possible to young children, and I think it's quite wrong that so much pressure is now put on both parents to return to work as soon as possible after a child is born. | |||
