Bad people got their commeupance and the worse they were the worse their death! It wasn't about slavery, slavery was just a story device used to make the violence and revenge acceptable. 12 years was specifically about slavery and the pain and suffering, endurance through hope or painful acceptance. Some fought the system from the start, some bided time. But I think what it portayed the most was the varying degrees of humanity from different people in different situations. Black and white. | |||

I said to person I went with, what was point of that and he shrugged..... I do realise this but sort of forgot! watched the Goonies when I got home first scene of that is someone hanging too! | |||
