Bradford

They don't deliver in West Yorkshire yet...

Which is ironic, as it was founded in Bradford.

Cryptic! Has that relevance to the thread or just a catty comment?

So a comment on the price of online shopping equates to the OP not valuing things, that is one hell of a fecking leap.

Morrison really dropped the ball with not having a home delivery service. In the food service world they are dicks

It is pretty sad but some people are I guess, I put it down to their own life being so dire they are desperate to spoil other peoples.

clever way of doing market research though with the 'type in your postcode and when we deliver we'll mail you'

meaning theyve now got my email addy and home postcode to base where in the UK im from and im guessing it will give them lots of feedback within a few weeks of where the most demand for their services are x

Morrisons is where i do my weekly shop.. my local asda's is either a 45min drive or a 30min drive and a trip across a ferry.

Sainsburys/lidls are what my town has to offer locally but sometimes i just feel sick of those places

Prefer to shop in person, as I have been going to the same Morrisons for the past 7 years, and got to know some of the staff to be able to have a chat whenever I see them.

Don't get the same buzz shopping online.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Morrisons have put their prices up a lot lately but there's a bus from my village straight there, which saves me a taxi fare home from another, cheaper store.

I just do little shops now, as I can bob into Aldi on the way home from work.

Probably to pay for the new store they have built in Gloucester though they have always been more expensive than Asda anyway but it is the only place I buy my bread from as I like their own brand, Asda's is dire

North Wales

I started online good shopping last year as I was unable to drive for a few months following surgery.

I've carried on doing it online as I find it easier to stick to our weekly budget

I like Tesco buts it's a bit pricey so opt for Asda!

I do asda once a mth for staples etc and it actually saves some money. I would pay £18 in taxis there and back but only between £3.00 and £5.00 for delivery. Im still looking forward to having a good mooch though when im up and running again

BOLDON COLLIERY

i guess were spoilt here as we are only 200yds from one of the largest asda stores in the country and they do click n collect , so go on line order what we want and select a time, then just pick it up

gives me a lot more time to be on here

I know they have to pay for delivering etc but to hike the basics up like they have is a bit daft really, They need to tempt those using the usual stores and get that business.

Very short sighted as Tescos et al have established customers and they're not going to switch for higher prices.

Morrisons are now delivering across the Yorkshire region and have been doing since February 3rd.

Apparently over the next few months postcode areas will be extended and deliveries will eventually start in London and the South-East this Summer.

One hour delivery slots and cheapest is a £1.

Cool

The queues in Aldi and Lidl do my head in. Morrisons aint too bad in comparison price wise in the real world and I do like their meat, fish, bakery etc.

Bad thing about shopping online is you miss the offers that you see as you're going round store. Which is both a good and bad thing, but some bargains are great.

O o O oo

I don't think Morrisons is any more expensive than the others to be honest, plus they always have offers on....I just can't stand Asda.

Don't they all price match each other these days, anyway?

It seems to be pretty fickle the online delivery choice anyway. Everyone I know has given all the supermarkets a go, at one time or another. As soon as they deem the service in one way or another, to have not been to standard, they'll opt to try another, and so on.
