Ladies with tons of messages

It must be really hard... ...for ladies to read their messages... they must get tons from all the guys on these sorts of sites... I read on another topic 1 to 300 ratio of women to men... So how do the ladies choose which message to open ??? ...

On a related point... it's obvious there are tons of scam dating sites... since before the guy is not paying for the site they get tons of messagesfrom really fantastic looking ladies... then you pay the money and then all messages dry up tighter than a camels arse in a sand storm... .... so be careful out there guys...

I read as many as I can....I like to keep my inbox as clear as possible though, once I get to 20 or so unread, I just bulk delete, saving those from friends!

We use filters and a code word in our profile, if you dont get the code word your messages get deleted. Simples.

I barely get any messages now I've turned down 95% of the people that message me!! So keeping my mail box clear isn't an issue. The ones that do message are easy to sort as most haven't paid attention to my profile so they just get deleted straight away.

I have real trouble managing the messaging system - the tidy person in me wants to keep the inbox relatively clear, but it's hard work deleting them all one by one to leave the last ones from the people you are talking to. If you save messages, you can never delete them it seems, even after the person has left the site? Then that box starts to get full too.....It really does make a distinctive avatar so important guys, we need to be able to find you!!

I can also get lots of messages but have blocked lots of people too so less hastle.

I tend to, after getting lots of messages not bother with the cock avatar profiles or the twenty somethings ones. The hi lets fuck ones go too.....

That often is the lot deleted lol.

You can delete saved messages, use the tick box on the left side, Bit if you open the message and then try to delete while it is open. that does not work

I really don't get that many 'decent' messages now to be honest. Been on Fab before and you learn as you go along! I have strict filters in place that seem to work and messages from anyone who's obviously not read my profile just get deleted.

I only add friends who I genuinely intend to meet which is why my list is very short. I chat to a few who are fairly local and I post on the Forums now and again. Oh my blocked list is fairly long though which probably helps

Don't open the messages, just click in the box by the side. If you open the message then delete it wont work

This is why I sometimes ignore the "You have messaged them before" warning. Don't get me wrong, if I get blocked or a polite no response then I'll give up, but for all I know the gal never even opened there message let alone considered me.

I do my best to keep up, but I'm lucky enough to be in a job where I can spend a fair bit of time on Fab. Including ongoing conversations, requests for meets, are they real messages, make up advice stuff and I'm 300 miles away and horny what are you going to do about it (fuck all), I get between 50 and 100 messages every day. Most are ongoing conversations with some of the loveliest people.

I read and reply to all my friends mail and I do send a polite "thank you" to the ones who compliment my pics but anyone under or over my age preference usually gets deleted and so do the "hello hun" ones.

Yes, I think you're right to check - I have to rely on the guys to stay in touch most of the time too, so if you've started talking and have not heard anything for a few days it may just be that her inbox got a bit overwhelming.

I'm not very good at housekeeping ... I currently have 156 unread ... but some of these relate to months ago !!!

I tend to save those messages with detail and/or pics for future reference and update private notes with any relevant information for those who have made contact and might be of interest in the future.

Also like to save people on my hotlist who I come across to message later when I get a bit more time.

Oh yes, and I always instantly delete cocks shots, three word messages and those who obviously haven't read my profile. I do make every effort to reply to those who have clearly made an effort even if they are not of interest !!!

Works for me !!!

Well, I am certainly not going to state how many unread messages I have! (I received over 200 on the 1st & 2nd Jan alone!)

Sometimes I'm on for the forums only as not in the mood to chat, I also ignore any from people with a one line profile! I also ignore all the 'how r u' one liners!

We can't answer all messages, however, I do also state in my profile that I might have missed a good message and if so to send it again.

Sometimes the grass is not always greener.....
