Hypocritical?

Does anyone else not find it slightly hypocritical when reading a profile that state's "will not respond to a profile without any photos" ... When you can't help but notice said profile is photoless itself?

Or am I wrong to think this way?

No. They might have pics on private ready to send. I don't reply to people who have no pics if they don't attach one, I'm not playing blind date.

Equally If I send the first message I'll send one

That's all well and good. And wouldn't expect people to play blind date ... Just seems a bit double standard.

I'm not saying that people must have a photo on their profile, it's their choice whether they do or not ... But just bugs me reading something like that when they don't do what they ask of others

There was a similar thread before xmas about people asking for face pics when they have none. When I was meeting I stated I wouldn't reply without a face pic being sent but I had 5 or 6 face pics in my public gallery. I would never dream of demanding a pic without one myself as it is a little hypocritical but its something people do all the time on here, it will never change.

If you don't like it just move onto the next profile. I run my profile the way I want. I have my face pics in private and I will send them to who I chose if interested. As I think you will find alot of people on this site do. It is not being a hypocrite.

But you wouldn't know if they do or not...if they're in private they don't show as existing on tge profile...

In the end, if you think that of them, don't contact them...their apparent hypocrisy won't affect you then will it and they can just carry on running their profile the way they choose...

why bother with people who dont have photos when there are so many who do.

i am often a bit suspicious of people who dont have pictures.

I read it as meaning pics in general I don't think he mentioned face pics at all
