Yes - and no. But it's taken a few years experience to get that way!

depends.

in real life i tend to stand back until comfortable with my surroundings and the company im in

if im at home, and its a party we are holding, then i will make the conversation and be the life and soul.

its all about comfort.

last weekend we went to xtasias and i probably spoke to 2 people, and only in passing.

next time, i will probably be a lot more extrovert

V on the other hand, would talk a glass eye to sleep lol

I would say a little kak handed at messaging, as I say what is in my head.

Gary is better at it I think, I have more confidence face to face I think, will have a laugh easier chat, more down to earth, both of us.

The messaging some people may think what's she on about lol, but that can go for all anyway, you cannot see people laughing ect, only so many " Lols " you can do.

This

I'm not the most confident person on here. For example, i wouldn't be able to message someone and ask if they want to meet outright. I may hint and leave it up to them to get back to me..

..in person, it takes me a while to warm up to the company. Not sure if everyone shares the same humour as me - that's usually a problem. Plus my accent lol

I'm pretty comfortable in my own skin these days. I do feel nervous meeting new people but that soon subsides as we get talking. I don't take feedback or comments personally most of the time, as it tells me more about the other person than giving me information that necessarily updates my view of myself. So I'd say I'm quietly confident these days

The problem I have is that I like men who are at least as confident as me but not arrogant.

This is an issue in clubs when lots of men will follow me around but few will actually talk to me. Which means that by waiting for me to make the first approach they have crossed themselves off the list of possibles.

So you're confident enough that somebody else will make the first move. Meanwhile the bloke you fancy is so self confident he believes you'll approach him...

At least neither of you will take a dent in your confidence.

Most of them won't even make eye contact.

If they do then I will assess their facial expression and then make an approach if they don't do so first. But I do prefer them to approach me. And for all I have an interesting reputation on here I'm very approachable in person.
