" I was walking at on a beach which has an area that juts out, with deep fine sand. sometimes there's great agates out past it at the edge of the tideline, but it's hard as fuck to walk through that far. I was walking as hard stompyfooty as I could out to the water and stomped THIGH DEEP into a DEAD AND VERY ROTTEN SEA LION CARCASS. so I am pulling my leg out of the mass of slime and grot, cursing super loud. I get my leg out and realize there's a family with three little kids (like four or five maybe? I dunno, walking-age kids) right next to me. I start to walk over to them to apologize for screaming about cockass whorefuckers and as I get closer they all start walking fast away from me, the one kid is running and screaming I had a bunch of intestines around my leg. I thought it was quite well written, in fact. Perhaps a few tweaks, but better prose than often seen. | |||
