My next tattoo is booked in for February sometime... Thinking of one on my foot!

How much does it hurt though!?

I've heard mixed reviews from people outside of fab.

Anyone had it done on here?

Ive got one on my foot (mrs) doesnt really hurt, just makes your nerves in your foot and leg twitch so try not to kick the tattooist, luckily I suffer from restless leg and could control the urge to kick out

Mine hurt everywhere but worst was on my wrist near the vein, now that did burn. There's not much fat on feet so I'm guessing it might do yes

See again mixed views... Does it depend on you're pain threshold also?

Definitely depends on pain threshold, i didn't think i would cope when i had my first tattoo done (on my wrist) but it just tingled and i liked it.

I think it all depends on the person, you just never know I have 8 I think... Including one on the top of my foot. I wouldn't say the pain was much more excessive than my others too be honest. Just go for it, you'll be glad you did.

I've just had my one and only tattoo finished. 5.5 hours in total. It's on my hip and bum. It hurt for start to finish but the level changed depending where she was working. Closer to my ribs was painful, along my bot, not too bad, but where the stretch marks were...yech! But anyway, I love it.

The foot is a very lean body part with lots of tendantes and bone there. How big is the tattoo? How much detail? The likelihood is it may hurt but won't be too bad! Its the ribs that are a killer.

I used that on my foot and left it on the required time amount and could still feel it. Ametop works fine for my friend though. Guess it's just my skin, could have needed more.

Yeah it's all about your own pain threshold and also the placement on the foot if it's over the bone and top of foot it can hurt a bit as not a lot of fat there just bone and nerves

"See again mixed views... Does it depend on you're pain threshold also? "

Some people are more ticklish in certain places than others so I guess sticking a needle that feels like it's been super heated by the sun and drag it around someone's skin like you are carving your name in a wooden desk for over an hour will be more painfull to some than others. The foot is supposed to be the worst-Not so much fat and lots of bones for the needle to vibrate against/along..... Are your feet ticklish?

About seven eighths of my left foot is saturated in ink. It was the most painful of my 9 tattoos by a bazillion miles and I need to keep having it topped up as the ink fades a lot in some parts due to rubbing on shoes and socks and sun exposure! Not ideal.

I have two on my back, one on each inner wrist and one on my foot. The foot way by far the most painful, it hurt more on boney parts

I have one on my foot and it was more painful than the one on my shoulder but not agonising unbearable pain.

My foot did spasm when they tattooed near the toes but it was ok, I was glad when it was finished.

You'll be fine OP, it does sting but it isn't too bad

The foot is the one of the most painful places, to have a tattoo.

Not going for a hat trick, to take out that additional 'the'....

I don't see a tattoo as painful, more of a nerve twitcher, I want a small foot tattoo, just to see if it is painful, as my other two weren't at all.
