Sheffield

Scraps are the scraps of batter that drip off fried food in the chippy fryer. And on top of your chips they are delish!

When I was a teenager if we didn't have any money our local chippy would give us a bag of scraps for free, yummy with salt and vinegar.

I miss the days of eating crap and not putting weight on...

Batter bits where I normally go.

Sometimes they are really chunky and great for dunking in mayo!

Child size fish and chips with batter bits, one mayo, one tartare sauce, one can of fizzy drink, open, with a plastic fork.

That's what I have once a month when I visit the chippy next to the hair salon that I frequent for the past 7+ years.
