after reading another topic people had said about there type of music,

i for one love pipes and drums Highland Cathedral always reminds me of my army days and on the passing out parade and of it being played when my grandfather was being laid to rest its a very moving tune for me. Is there any song etc that pulls at the heart strings for my fellow people out there lol

I remember my old OC he used to play the pipes outside our mess whenever he was pissed with us, it was very moving too, we all wanted to move to the next county!

my poor old mum died last month and it was doing my head in what music to choose for the funeral...so going in was " another one bites the dust by queen" and going out was " bat out of hell by meat loaf" i didnt think for a second they would allow it but they were fine about it...tony

Eva Cassidy - Songbird (or even the All Angels version).

It was my late Granddads favourite song and was also played at my wedding.
