Does anyone else work from home from time to time?

If so do you suffer sometimes with to many distractions making it harder to achieve everything you need to?

Think I am still in Holiday mode...

I'm self employed and work from home and have been for the past 18months. its great in terms of time and flexibilty, but I do miss the office chatter and banter and being all alone most days except when I need to conduct site visits, you can easily get de-motivated.

Oh and I spend far to much time on fab and porn sites as a result.

Yeah I do. I would be far more productive if I had a separate office area to lock myself away in.

That said, the ability to do so gives me a great work life balance

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I am procrastinating this morning. I have sent all of the emails out and I am operating on the basis that I need their responses before I continue. I don't want to waste a clients money do I?

Hull

I have worked from home for almost 15 years...I have a separate office which helps immensely.

i alwasy have a to do list and make sure I get it all ticked off...I do allow myself breaks as I would have if I worked in an office and most of it is used for pervery..lol

Organisation is key

Look, were all friends here. Just admit it. You have been wanking all morning and feel guilty. It's ok, we are not judging you!

Erm who's asking?

It works both ways. If a customer needs something urgent, I work into the night to finish the job.

I never miss a deadline and I only charge for actual time on the work.

I know... Get back to work!

Yes I work from home, I tend to set myself goals to reach before I allow myself down time, school holidays are the worst and where possible I'll do my work in the evenings to allow the kids to have my attention during the day

I am beginning to wonder if any of them are back at work as I haven't had one response to any of my emails or phone messages. So taking it easy safe in the knowledge they will all be hyper when they realise the deadlines are looming.
