Personally bollinger is our fave followed by a nice dom perignon for very special occasions. Cannot stand Asti it's far too sweet. Like a horrid cheap desert wine mixed with lemonade.

The Dungeon

"Am I the only person that doesn't like it?"

Not at all. I used to be a wine and spirit buyer. I've tasted more Prosecco than I care to remember and I can honestly say I hated every single mouthful. The only upside is that I never had to swallow it.

Now champagne is a different ballgame. Verve is my personal favourite mass producer but I'm not averse to Moet if it's available Won't buy Dom or Laurent Perrier. Best champagne you can buy is actually off the little vineyards who really take care of their grapes and live to produce exceptional wine.

I was bought a bottle of champagne and prosecco by patients for christmas, I really dislike both they're too dry for my taste and to me its like drinking Diamond White cider.

I'd much rather have a nice shiraz, merlot or better still a pear Rekorderlig...
