Water marks on pics

I think the fabswingers & profile details embedded into pictures on this site is a great idea as it stops your pics being nicked and used on other sites or in fake profiles.

The problem is though, Our close up face pics are also watermarked. Now we don't like to give our face pics out willy nilly to anyone (thats our preference for our own good reasons)and we certainly don't like the idea of our face pics circulating the internet with our swingers profile watermarked on them. Is there a way to have your face pics with no ebedded info on so we can maintain a high level of discretion & anonymity?

No, we don't. Our face pics are headshots only to show others what we look like. There is no problem with these pics going onto the net, it's the fact that our swingers profile is on them that gives the game away

to be fair its piss easy to crop a picture to remove the watermark.. hell ive nicked my own pics before lol

i'm confused. the watermarking is to stop people taking pics and putting them on other sites, which you dont want to happen but you are happy for your face pics not to be watermarked so they can be stolen and put on other sites?

I know you only give them out sparingly but there is no guarantee that they wont take your pics.

I think it would be unworkable for the site to offer indvidual opt out fr every pic uploaded which is what the solution would have to be

And if they did, we would contact the site to have it removed anyway. The point is, we don't want our clear face pics with our swingers profile in the public domain.

the OP is asking for their facepics not to have the fabswingers profile linked to it,

thats the question I read

So that if the face pics are nicked, it provides no link to them

*my answer?- it wont matter will it, as the facepics could have been nicked from anywhere and then uploaded to fab then stolen

Surely you must have the non watermarked originals!! Could you not use them or take some others similar and not put them on fab so you can use them privately.......or am I missing something

once you have put your pics on the net they are "out there" ..... its pointless trying to do anything...... if people want to nick em , they will.

We put ours on full view for a reason - the private ones match the decor etc in our home which is difficult for pic collectors to do

takes approx 3 minutes to take a photo - plug into pc and upload ...... just take new uns all the time - its easy

Thats a good point, but would still prefer not to have them watermarked.

Yes, we have the originals, but when you upload them to Fab, they always end up watermarked.

I suppose we could just send the original via email, but it would be easier to just send them through Fab

you should never send an unmarked photo to an e-mail address ...... thats even worse!! ....... the recipient then has a photo to do with as they wish

Is it difficult for you to take new ones?..... because we find it the easiest thing in the world to do.

Despite the comment above about not sending by email that's probably the only way to do with anonymity - assuming you set up a separate email without identifying details, and that you send the email without anything to identify you or suggest anything related to swinging.

The thing of them having your photo is irrelevant, as whatever way you send it, people can keep it somehow or another.

But if you email your face pics without any reference to swinging that at least gives you a better case to deny.

Removing watermarks on here wouldn't really make any difference because even if you messaged an unwatermarked photo, somebody could screen grab your message to show the site header which would be just the same.

Thank you for your reply, that makes perfect sense. I didn't think about the screen grab.
