Drinking the very last drop ....

Non Vanilla Land

Desperately trying to embark on my new regime this week ... no alcohol, eat sensibly, more exercise, so with this in mind ....

Wine all d*unk

Prosecco long gone

Drambuie a little bit left

Gin always loads of gin but no tonic

Blackcurrant liquer some left but smells a bit like cough sweets now

Port one unopened bottle

What have you got left to drink ... and are you contemplating tipping it down the sink before tomorrow ????

I've got one bottle of my favourite sparkling pink wine in the fridge but I'm keeping it till Easter. I don't drink much anyway. Eating chocolate is my downfall BUT I'm back to Weight Watchers Wednesday night

I know it makes us sound like alcoholics but John has a shelf full of every drink i could possibly want and copious amounts of flavoured cider at his house, then there is the same at my house. It's not that we drink a lot but we do like a cocktail or two if we have friends around....

None of it will end up in the bin.

However like you i'm trying to eat less crap, drink less, exercise a bit more.... So i gave my xmas chocolates away and are now taking fruit to work instead of visiting the goodie machine or taking McVities in...

Little steps

I still have plenty of alcohol in the house.

However, after drinking quite a few cocktails last night on a night out to make up for missing my work's Christmas do due to illness, I shall revert back to normal, and that is a glass of something when I am having a meal at weekends.

Thought it might, it hasn't moved since I put it in the cupboard. Probably won't move til my spring clean.

i have almost (i say almost) given up the alcohol... I have found non-alcohol beer (becks blue) and non-alcoholic cider (kopperburg) and they are nice enough and do me fine....

obviously I have been disowned by the family..... lol who i am now, according to my sister, one step closer to hippy-dom!

I have a can of guinness or a glass of wine every so often... but that is about it

There's half a bottle of gin, a bottle of white and rose wine, half a bottle of vodka, a bottle of sparkling pink wine and a quarter of a bottle of red on the drink shelf... They've been there ages though, not much of a drinker!

hmmmm just done a count.... 61 bottles of wine & spirits, haven't counted the beer / cider but there is a cupboard full about 48 bottles probably, plus a dozen in the fridge... probably enough for a couple of weeks
