Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

One of the best concerts I have ever been to was Prince at the O2 - he was on stage for the whole night and then went on to do the after party gig. Amazing.

Massive fans, a true artist and an extremely talented songwriter. His early stuff inspired many a naughty session for us

Had Blenheim Palace tickets years ago but he cancelled

Will definitely be going, hopefully to more than one!

Saw him at Wembley in 1986 & 1988, both were brilliant and at the first one I nearly knocked out Boy George when I burst into the gents dying for a piss.

If he does the same tour songs as his last Live Out Loud he will cover a few, however these may of been tailored to his American followers and the UK set may differ. This was the sample set from the 2013 tour;

The Breakdown

Endorphinmachine

Screwdriver

She's Always In My Hair

Liathach

I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man

Guitar

Plectrum Electrum

Fixurlifeup

I Like It There

When We're Dancing Close And Slow

Bambi

2 Young 2 Dare

Cause And Effect

Dreamer

Let's Go Crazy

He's gotta play Purple Rain ..........

One of my all time favourite tracks ....

The guy can sing , dance , play amazing guitar and apparently suck his own cock .......

I've seen him a few times and how good he is depends on what sort of mood he's in, the band he's currently playing with and the set list. Seen good gigs and bad over the years. Hop Farm a couple of years ago was immense, particularly the 20 minute funk jam 'soundcheck'

Find the Montreaux 2009 gig on YouTube (particularly the second set, when he did Hendrix, Billy Cobham and Elvis covers) for a truly on fire, good mood, great band, awesome setlist example.

Was that when he played While My Guitar Gently Weeps? That performance was stunning.

The thing I like about Prince is that he's comfortable with so many genres of music and doesn't mind mixing them up.

No, that was the George Harrison tribute gig. The Second Montreaux gig makes that sound like me!

Drop me your email address and I'll put the DVD onto Dropbox for you.

Unusually, he doesn't play the Esquire Tele or the weird custom guitars, he plays a red Strat with a Floyd Rose, which I'd never seen him play before.
