Just seen a link on Facebook, 2nd most dangerous is horse riding (no surprises there) but apparently cheerleading is the worlds most dangerous sport

Which sports would you deem the most dangerous?

Cheerleading?? Really!?

You chuck a girl up in the air and dint catch her right could be life changing fir her but I can't see how it's the most dangerous.

All sports contain an element of danger. Would be interesting yo see how they calculated the danger. Was it occurrence of injury or severity?

usual stats make out fishing to be the most dangerous.

Drownings quite frequent & lightning strikes not unknown!

Personally I found off road/enduro motorcycling to be dangerous. Various fractures, punctured lung and dislocated shoulder over a ten yr period.

Yea I was pretty rubbish at it....!

I suspect it is American statistics? And I guess it depends on whether you are looking at severe injuries or any injury?

Injuries in many sports don't warrent a visit to A&E so how can anyone know?

I think it's motorcycle road racing which is the most dangerous professional sport in the world. Which is banned in most counties world wide.

That was way down on the list but there are so many sports deemed dangerous, how can it really be judged.

Some sports cause more broken bones than others but then others the injuries are more serious or the death toll is high.

I'd go for extreme downhill mountain biking and I mean the good stuff where you jump off cliff faces and have huge doubles

that or Tombstoneing? Either way both are bloody good fun
